THE DRESS, a topic of much discussion on the 27/02/15, is it blue and black? Is it white and gold? It's blue and black.

Work, undelivered parcels and mysterious bin thievery
I've been posting these on my Twitter @edwinburrow
Unfortunately I was told that I can't do my A-Z intangibles for a project because it has technically been marked from 2nd year or something like that. So that's on the back burner for the moment.

Metropolis
This week's Illustration Friday word was Metropolis, here's my response. I've also updated my website with new content - new stuff ooooh

C is for Curiosity
If you've been following my blog/my work you may find this familiar. Last year we were given a brief to illustrate 6 intangible words for an A-Z book. This year I've decided to continue the brief and draw the other 20 words to make a complete book.
Edwin Burrow and the search for tweets
My next 5 weeks consist of many projects, one of which is to illustrate a tweet every day. Also to draw a daily comic every day. Maybe not Wednesdays though because I might be doing Editorial illustrations. Regardless, my Twitter feed wasn't very interesting yesterday morning which in turn gave me something to put in a comic.
Twitter Illustrations
Just heard shouting in the hall, toddlers screaming "CATCH THE MONKEY!!!" at each other. Please, God, let nobody have bought a monkey...

First twitter illustration of the week was the above. I tried something a little different, think it needs refining but it got the job done, I was retweeted by Mark Millar (writer of Kick-Ass, Wanted, The Secret Service) and received many 'favourites'.
Aw yis.
The Oscars was all over the Internet yesterday, especially John Travolta being creepy, or 'Travolting'. Hehehe. He's like a lizard man in disguise, he hasn't aged well.

Bernie
I was playing around with adobe illustrator, decided to try to make a simple comic using some character templates. What happened is that I created a monster with similar features to Bernie from Sesame Street. Might do some more of these in the future, it was definitely quicker than my usual method but it just isn't the same as drawing by hand.
I missed out on hourly comic day, which was on the 1st February. I only discovered it late Saturday so I wasn't particularly prepared, plus I have a dissertation to write. Excuses excuses I know but I plan to do my own hourly comic day sometime soon, most likely after my dissertation deadline. I also want to do some 24 hour comics too and just do all of the comics because I need to do more comics!
